We’re excited about our new arrival from Ecuador, our Ecuador Ivan Torres.  Ecuadorian specialty coffee in the U.S. is rare at best.  Ecuador only exports around 100 containers of coffee per year (40,000 lbs./container) compared to neighboring Colombia at 32,000 containers and Peru at 12,000 containers.  We were fortunate to land 1-bag of this amazingly rare coffee yet at a wonderfully affordable price.  This comes from a small association in the South of Ecuador bordering the Peruvian border.  The unique microclimate where this coffee is grown can be tasted in the cup.  Nice jammy acidity, chocolate, peach and lemon floral notes.  A unique offering that won’t last long.
