What is Ultra Running?  Running any distance over 26.2 miles- the marathon.  Ultra’s come in all shapes and sizes but most commonly are 50k (31 miles), 50Miles and the ultimate 100Mile and are generally ran on some of the most unforgiving trails imaginable.

Having ran a few ultra’s myself along with a variety of other trail races, I have some small understanding of the un-fathomable mental & physical requirements it takes to finish.  If you follow this sport at all, and if you don’t you should, their are some truly amazing people that dominate this sport.

We are in awe of professional athletes in Baseball, Basketball and Football but professional Ultra Runners are the Rodney Dangerfield’s of professional sports What does this have to do with coffee you say?  Well you’ll have to wait, but some exciting news to come.  Stay tuned!
