On September 18, 2016 “Speedgoat” Karl Meltzer set a new Appalachian Trail thru-hike speed record of 45 days, 22 hours, and 38 minutes. The trek started on Mount Katahdin, ME and finished on Springer Mountain in Georgia – a total distance of 2189 miles.
Our exclusive new roast is a tribute to Karl’s boldness, heart, and sweat. Because 2189 miles is really not that far.
A full-bodied custom blend of Indonesian beans. Roasted to bring out an earthy flavor with hints of ripe tobacco balanced with stone fruits.
